Everything You Need to Know About Google Nexus 9 Tablet

Post  Admin on Wed Oct 29, 2014 5:44 pm

The HTC made Google Nexus 9 comes with a 8.9-inch IPS screen with 2048x1536 pixels resolution (4:3 aspect ratio), an 8-megapixel shooter with led flash, Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity and 16 or 32GB of storage. The tablet is powered by a 64bit NVIDIA tegra K1 dual-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz and 2GB of DDR3 memory. The Nexus 9 will come in 2 variations; either Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi+LTE.

The Google Nexus 9 is noteworthy for a few reasons. First, it's a Google Nexus device, which means it's designed with close input from Google's own Android team in order to showcase the most current (and completely unmodified) Android software. Second -- and on a related note -- it's one of the first devices to run the brand spankin' new Android 5.0 Lollipop release. And third, it's the first Nexus device and the first tablet created by HTC in a long time.

The Google Nexus 9 is equipped with a 6700 mAh battery, which Google claims is good for up to 9.5 hours on Wi-Fi browsing, 8.5 hours on LTE browsing and 30 days of standby.

The Google Nexus 9 is on presale now from Google and a bunch of retailers for $399 ($479 if you want a 32GB model instead of the baseline 16GB). It's expected to start shipping and showing up in stores on November 3rd.
