SANYO expanding eneloop New-Type Battery Series in Japan

In need of even higher capacity rechargeable batteries? If you live in Japan, you’re in luck because today SANYO announced the new additions to its line-up in the eneloop rechargeable battery series, the eneloop pro, the eneloop plus and their charger sets to be released for the Japanese market.

SANYO said that the eneloop pro battery has a 25 percent higher capacity than regular eneloop batteries, making it suitable to power your most energy demanding tech, while the eneloop plus battery with its overheat prevention function is ideal for toys.

Another unique feature is the “wireless charging carrying case,” which as the name implies, will wirelessly recharges your eneloop batteries.

Although these sound great, you’re going to have to wait a little while till they hit the market. Get the eneloop pro from July 21, the eneloop pro charger set from September 21 and the eneloop plus and its charger set from December 1, but keep in mind these are Japan only.
